Wire 3 has launched a $60 million fiber-optic network expansion in Macon, Georgia, marking the company’s first service area outside Florida. The project will deploy a 100% fiber network to deliver high-speed internet to more than 60,000 homes and businesses.
The project involves constructing a citywide fiber network capable of delivering symmetrical speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second. Crews have begun construction, with initial service connections expected by summer 2026. The company expects to complete full network deployment within 24 months.
The project will support economic activity, enable digital services, and strengthen local infrastructure in Macon.
