The West Basin Municipal Water District has selected Jacobs for a five-year, $31.5 million-per-year contract to operate and maintain its five recycled water treatment facilities, including the Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility. Jacobs will begin services on September 1, 2025.
West Basin produces 40 million gallons of recycled water daily for industrial, commercial, and irrigation use across Los Angeles County. Jacobs will deploy its Intelligent O&M technology to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve long-term system performance. The district’s distribution network spans over 100 miles and includes more than 400 connections at 300 customer sites.
Jacobs will implement its Digital OneWater platform and Intelligent O&M technologies to optimize energy and chemical use, enhance reliability, and reduce costs.
