The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is investing $66 million to develop a new water treatment system serving the Village of Fieldon and rural Jersey County in Illinois.

The project includes construction of a new water treatment plant, two wells, a raw water transmission main, and distribution lines. The Illinois Alluvial Regional Water Company Inc. will develop and operate the system.
