TurnOnGreen has installed electric vehicle charging stations at Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, California, expanding charging access for staff, patients, and visitors at the healthcare facility.
The installation includes networked Level 2 charging units designed to support electric vehicle users at the hospital campus. Drivers can access the chargers through a mobile application, RFID cards, or QR-based access systems.
The project received funding from the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District through its Zero-Emission Infrastructure Program. The program provides financial incentives to encourage deployment of EV charging infrastructure across communities in the district.
TurnOnGreen will own and operate the charging equipment under a site licensing agreement with the hospital. The chargers connect to the company’s cloud-based platform, which enables monitoring, usage tracking, and payment processing.
