The North County Transit District (NCTD) in San Diego, California, has launched its new on-demand service, NCTD+, within the City of Vista in San Diego County. The service is designed to provide first- and last-mile connections for residents traveling within a designated 7-mile geographic zone, linking them to community destinations, rail stations, and transit centers. Vista is the second of four areas in North County to receive this new on-demand transportation option.
NCTD+ is accessible to all members of the community, allowing passengers to conveniently schedule trips for various purposes, including commuting to work or to school, visiting restaurants, or visiting parks and other local attractions. The service utilizes brightly wrapped vans that are fully ADA accessible and can comfortably seat up to eight passengers. To utilize the service, passengers simply need to download the NCTD+ app, book their desired trip, and then embark on their journey.
