Kelsian Group Limited’s subsidiary, First Class Transportation (FCT), has been awarded a five-year contract renewal for The Woodlands Express bus service in Texas, USA. The contract is valued at approximately $29 million. It will commence in May 2025, with an option to extend the term for up to five additional one-year periods.
Under the renewed contract, FCT will continue to operate and maintain up to 25 coaches owned and provided by The Woodlands Township from its facility in Houston, Texas. Kelsian Group CEO Graeme Legh highlighted the FCT team’s 99.7 percent reliability for The Woodlands Township and expressed the company’s hope of continuing the partnership.
In addition to the renewal, FCT has also secured a new five-year contract with the City of Conroe, Texas, for a fixed-route bus service, utilizing two buses per day. This new contract will commence in April 2025, with FCT providing the buses for the first year of service before transitioning to city-owned CNG vehicles in the second year.
