Hubject and Blink Charging have entered into a strategic collaboration to integrate Blink’s charging infrastructure into Hubject’s Intercharge roaming platform across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Blink will join as a Charge Point Operator, providing Hubject’s existing e-mobility service provider (eMSP) partners with expanded access to charging stations.
The agreement will allow Blink to reach new customers through Hubject’s platform while increasing station utilization. Hubject’s eMSP partners will benefit from wider coverage, and drivers will gain more interoperable charging options when traveling.
The integration uses the Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI) protocol to ensure secure communication and standardized billing between Blink’s charging network and Hubject’s eMSP partners. Deployment will roll out in phases during 2025, with full integration targeted for completion by year-end, subject to technical readiness.
Blink’s network includes Level 2 workplace chargers and high-power DC fast charging sites, complementing Hubject’s existing coverage. Both companies said the collaboration supports the expansion of electric mobility and the reduction of charging barriers across North America.
