EV Realty has opened a multi-fleet electric truck charging hub in San Bernardino, California. The facility includes 76 high-power charging ports and 9 MW of installed capacity. The site can serve more than 200 medium- and heavy-duty trucks per day.

The project supports fleet electrification across a major freight corridor near Interstates 10 and 215. The site also sits close to the San Bernardino Intermodal Facility, a key logistics hub. It serves an area with nearly 17,000 medium- and heavy-duty trucks operating daily.

The charging hub features both Combined Charging System (CCS) and Megawatt Charging System (MCS) connectors. Charging infrastructure enables up to 1.2 MW for MCS and 500 kW for CCS. Kempower supplied the charging hardware, including satellite and megawatt charging units. Synop provides software for power management, reservations, and fleet analytics.

The project received public funding support from the California Energy Commission’s EnergIIZE Commercial Vehicles Project and the South Coast Air Quality Management District’s Carl Moyer Program. Southern California Edison supported grid connectivity, enabling accelerated construction timelines. Construction began in mid-2025 and the site is now operational.

The facility operates under EV Realty’s shared “Powered Properties” model. This model allows multiple fleet operators to access charging infrastructure without building dedicated assets. Confirmed users include J.B. Hunt Transport, Gate City Beverage, and Nevoya.

The project improves access to high-capacity charging infrastructure for freight operators transitioning to electric fleets.
