Blink Charging has installed eight 120 kW DC fast chargers at the new Power Up Plaza in Chicago’s West Garfield Park.
Partially funded by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, the project expands public charging access in a previously underserved area. The site’s location near United Center and Cook County Hospital provides convenient charging for commuters and local drivers.
Each charger can deliver a near full charge in 15 to 45 minutes, supporting faster EV adoption and improving regional charging capacity.
