The Electrification Coalition has launched the Advanced Freight Partners Group (AFPG), a public-private partnership of 45 organizations spanning trucking, maritime, and rail. The group will coordinate industry, government, and nonprofit stakeholders to modernize freight movement through low and zero-emission technologies and alternative fuels.
AFPG’s priorities include advancing charging and fueling infrastructure, promoting best practices, and highlighting projects that improve efficiency and resilience in freight networks. Founding members include the American Trucking Associations, American Waterways Operators, Blue Sky Maritime Coalition, North American Council for Freight Efficiency, Terawatt Infrastructure, and Volvo Group North America.
