Jacobs will lead program and construction management for phase one of the $1.6 billion modernization of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE). The multi-year program, known as CLEvolution, upgrades core terminal infrastructure and adjacent facilities.

Phase one will deliver a redesigned terminal entrance, expanded curbside areas, a new check-in lobby, a consolidated TSA checkpoint, and a new international arrivals area. The scope also includes a ground transportation center, an upgraded rail station, and a multi-level parking garage with 6,000 spaces.

The airport’s improvement timeline shows earlier enabling work, including surface parking modifications, a new parking garage design–build contract, and redevelopment of the RTA station with a new platform and pedestrian tunnel. Upcoming program elements include the design and construction of a new terminal headhouse.
