Skanska has started a $700 million, five-year project to redevelop Terminal E at Boston Logan International Airport in partnership with the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport). The work will expand parking and reconfigure roadways at the airport’s main international terminal.
The centerpiece is a 10-story garage with 4,000 spaces, estimated at $250 million. The remaining $450 million covers new roadways, a pedestal bridge, and dedicated rideshare pickup and drop-off areas. Skanska is also building temporary roadways and an off-site staging area to limit traffic disruptions.
Foundation work is expected to begin soon, with the garage scheduled for completion in 2030. The upgrades aim to ease congestion, improve passenger flow, and accommodate future increases in international travel.
