Lunda Construction has received two contracts in Wisconsin valued at a combined $80 million for bridge and dam replacement projects.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation awarded Lunda a $19.7 million contract for the I-41 Bridges Project between Appleton and Green Bay. Crews will remove eight deteriorating bridges and replace them with wider, longer structures to accommodate the corridor’s expansion. Work begins this month with substantial completion expected in late 2027.

Separately, Domtar Paper Company awarded Lunda a $60.2 million contract to modernize the Rothschild Dam on the Wisconsin River. The $84 million project will replace a timber dam with a concrete structure, including cofferdams, deep foundations, reinforced concrete placement, a control building, a prefabricated bridge, and new dam gates. Construction began in July and is scheduled to finish in 2029.
