Spectrum has expanded its fiber broadband network in Vinton County, Ohio, extending high-speed internet access to more than 770 additional homes and businesses in previously unserved or underserved areas.
The project includes deployment of new fiber infrastructure to support residential and commercial broadband service with download speeds of up to 1 Gbps. The expansion also enables access to mobile, television, and voice services.
The network expansion forms part of Spectrum’s multi-year rural construction initiative, which the company states is supported by more than $7 billion in private investment nationwide. The broader program aims to add over 100,000 miles of fiber infrastructure and connect approximately 1.7 million new locations across the United States.
Construction has been completed for the newly served areas in Vinton County, allowing services to become available in January 2026. The project will provide broadband access to households and small businesses that previously lacked reliable high-speed connectivity.
