The Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro) has awarded a $8.26 million contract to Myers-Shimmick Joint Venture (MSJV) to serve as the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) for the 18.98-mile-long North Hollywood to Pasadena Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project preconstruction phase.

The scope of work includes refining project designs, ensuring cost control, and developing a comprehensive construction schedule. The line will connect North Hollywood, Burbank, Glendale, Eagle Rock, and Pasadena, serving 22 new stations. It will provide fast, reliable, and efficient transit options that will reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality through the use of zero-emission electric buses. The project construction cost is estimated to be $190 million.

The works are expected to begin in 2025. The project is expected to be completed in 2028.
