FlixBus has expanded its intercity bus network in the United States with the introduction of three new routes, enhancing connectivity across the Midwest and the South. The expansion aims to provide additional travel options for students, commuters, and budget-conscious passengers.

The first new route, connecting St. Louis, Nashville, and Atlanta, commenced operations on March 13, 2025. Operated in collaboration with Vandalia Bus Lines, this express service offers a faster travel alternative between the Midwest and the South. The route benefits students from institutions such as Vanderbilt University, Southern Illinois University, and Georgia State University. FlixBus operates this service six to seven times per week.

On the same date, FlixBus also launched a route connecting Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Chicago, and Madison. The service marks the first time that FlixBus has included Cincinnati in its network, improving connectivity between Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Key stops include the University of Cincinnati, Indianapolis transit hubs, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It is operated by Queen City Transportation and runs six to seven times per week.

A third route, linking New York City and Chicago, will commence service on March 19, 2025. It will be operated by Eagle Bus Lines. The route will introduce FlixBus service to State College, Pennsylvania, home to Penn State University, and improve connections to Pittsburgh, Columbus, Dayton, and Indianapolis.
