Comcast has completed a $6.1 million broadband expansion in Greenwood, South Carolina, delivering high-speed internet to homes and businesses for the first time. Funded through an American Rescue Plan Act State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds grant, the project provides access to Comcast’s Xfinity and Comcast Business services across the community.
Comcast hosted a ribbon-cutting and community event at the Boys & Girls Club of the Lakelands Region, where the company donated $10,000 to support digital literacy programs and designated the site as a new Lift Zone offering free WiFi access.
