Bojangles installed its first electric vehicle charging station at a restaurant location in Savannah, Georgia, as the company expands into EV infrastructure. The site marks the beginning of a broader plan to add charging stations across additional restaurant locations nationwide.
The charging hub opened at the company’s restaurant on Ogeechee Road in Savannah. The project includes Level 2 and Level 3 charging equipment designed to serve customers during restaurant visits and travel stops.
Bojangles developed the project in partnership with XLR8 America and Energy and Environmental Design Services. The companies said the initiative aims to combine EV charging access with quick-service dining at high-traffic roadside locations.
The company operates more than 800 company-owned and franchised restaurants across the United States. Future charging installations are expected in additional markets as EV adoption continues to increase nationally.
