Georgia will receive more than $67 million to support drinking water infrastructure improvements across the state. The funding will finance upgrades to existing systems and support efforts to remove lead pipes from drinking water networks.
The funding is provided through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The program directs federal resources to states to improve drinking water quality, expand access to safe water, and strengthen public health protections.
