Kansas communities have secured more than $57 million to support local roadway safety projects through the federal Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Program.

Fourteen cities, counties, and regional agencies across the state will receive $45.7 million in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. State matching funds total more than $10.8 million from the Kansas Infrastructure Hub and the Build Kansas Fund, with an additional $566,987 provided by local applicants.
