Beam Global has sold ten off-grid EV ARC electric vehicle charging systems to a new residential development in New York, marking the company’s largest deployment of the product in a residential setting.
The project involves installation of portable, solar-powered EV charging units designed to operate without grid connection. The systems will provide on-site charging for residents without requiring trenching, electrical upgrades, or coordination with local utilities. The systems generate and store electricity on site and can be relocated as parking layouts or demand change, allowing deployment without permanent infrastructure.
The installation supports residential access to EV charging in dense urban areas where conventional grid-tied charging faces capacity, permitting, and construction constraints.
