The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has approved over $22.5 million in contracts for road and bridge improvements across the Southeast District. The awards include intersection upgrades, resurfacing, bridge replacement, erosion repairs, striping, and the addition of rumble strips.
Key projects include:
- Bollinger County: Fronabarger Concreters, Inc. received $1.69 million for intersection and ADA sidewalk improvements on Route 34 at Route 51 in Marble Hill.
- Iron and Wayne Counties: Apex Paving Company secured $3.35 million for scrub sealing and rumble strip installation along Route 49.
- Oregon County: H.R. Quadri Contractors, LLC won a $3.72 million contract for scrub sealing and rumble strips along Route M.
- Scott County: Penzel Construction Company, Inc. received $4.43 million to replace the Route AA bridge over Route 60.
- Ozark County: Courtney Construction, LLC will complete slope repairs on Route 95 under a $196,429 contract.
- District-wide: Reynolds Sealing and Striping, Inc. secured $1.04 million for striping on sections of I-55 and I-57.
- Dunklin County: Magruder Paving, LLC won two contracts totaling $8.06 million for resurfacing Routes 164, Y, and YY.
